Arsenal – Emirates Stadium,

All Case Studies

Home to Arsenal Football Club, the Emirates Stadium is one of the most iconic footballing venues in the world. Opened in July 2006, at full capacity the Emirates Stadium can hold more than 60,700 fans.

For a stadium of such international renown, it is important that it has the exterior to match.

Thanks to Ibstock glazed bricks, the exterior of the stadium is almost as exhilarating as the action on the pitch, with the products used to create eye-catching highlights around key areas of the building.

Available in an almost unlimited range of colours, sizes and finishes, ceramic glazed bricks have been used to accent the areas around the ticket office and main entrance.

Specified in a high-gloss burgundy finish (mirroring the colours of the Arsenal’s world-famous kit), the glazed bricks have been used to stunning effect, contrasted against the building’s patented green copper skin, demonstrating the creative potential of glazed products.

The wider entrance area has been completed with a palette of curved glass, concrete and blockwork, ensuring visitors are treated to a truly stunning architectural aesthetic.
